Why Huckabee is right on immigration

You should vote for Mike Huckabee because he will defend America’s borders.  During his speech in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, he told the crowd that he welcomes legal immigrants to the United States.  The problem is that we have a broken system that can’t find the illegal immigrants.  Gov. Huckabee believes America deserves better protection and is willing to make the hard choices to strengthen our borders:  improved tracking of immigrants; border defenses; eliminating hiring of illegal aliens by US businesses.

We ABSOLUTELY AGREE with Gov. Huckabee.  We believe that anyone who comes to the United States, either as immigrants or as visitors, should do so legally.  File the proper paperwork; pay the required fees; wait your turn.  Then, enter legally and freely!

Yana immigrated to America in 2002.  It cost us lots of time and money to obey the law.  Now, after almost six years, Yana is a US Citizen.  Yana and Michael believe it is completely wrong and patently unfair to allow persons who have come to this country illegally to bypass or circumvent current law and gain legal residency or citizenship.  We know that most other legal immigrants agree with us because they’ve told us so; in fact, we have yet to meet even one legal immigrant who wants illegals to gain residency rights.

Many on the socialist left are bent upon keeping our borders open, and try to say it’s the “right” or “honorable” or “just” or “compassionate” response to the immigration problem.  Foolishness!  All the Democrats are really looking for is a way to make millions of new Democratic voters who’ll toe their party line.
